When I went there it was a little scary. I was in the Sage unit. Dr.Link was amazing and very understanding. He listened to my concerns and treated me with respect . Some of the staff were a little rough around the edges and a couple of group therapy sessions were POINTLESS. But I did meet some amazing people. There was some amazing staff named Elizabeth and Charlotte and the nurse Angela was amazing and very accommodating. We had an awesome group and were able to have a couple of group sessions that were very useful and helpful.
I spent 7 months in the residential facility and 3 weeks in acute care. The people here really do care about you, and they work hard to make sure you have the correct treatment. Nicole, the psychiatrist, was amazing and handled my medication and treatment amazingly. She was understanding and listened to my concerns and actually following through. All of the BHTs were friendly and always did their job. They stopped fights when they happened, listened to us when we needed them to and gave us support throughout our stay. Nurses were thorough when giving medication(s), always asking for our DOB, name and listed what we were taking. They respected HIPPA at all times. When I got my therapist/counselor, he listened to me and respected when I wasn't able to talk about something. The only compliant I really have isn't for me, but for Oasis. They were under staffed constantly and sometimes had 1 staff member on the floor. When there's 12 kids to watch, safety isn't going to fully be there. This isn't the BHTs or the nurse's fault, it's the overall company. Oasis, you really do need to step up and make sure the staff to patient ratio is ALWAYS consistent and maintains safety. This was a great experience and I recommend anyone to bring their kid here for proper care and treatment.
I arrived at Oasis on Saturday morning January 13, 2018. Approximately 9am. From that moment on, the staff was awesome. I need to acknowledge BHT'S, Sue, Paxton, Charlotte, Barbara, Linda, Nora, and Jason (SW), on Sage Unit. I can't thank you all enough for all you did for me. I hope many more patients get to benefit from meeting you. Keep up the good work
I stayed here twice. Not the best or the worst place. Some staff eh others are great I've met a lot of very nice people. Groups are really helpful. I just didn't really like the place but its okay
I am a 31 year old professional woman that saw Dr. Bellota over the course of several months. My interactions with her overall were very positive; she helped me through many difficult and trying issues that I was experiencing. She also respected my desire to stay away from certain medications, and helped me to seek alternative solutions to quell my severe panic and anxiety. She is a good listener, something that, in my opinion, is essential in a good psychiatrist.
I have been seeing Dr. Bist for six years. He is deeply perceptive -- he has a way of getting right to the heart of things, and has pinpointed issues I have struggled with for years, providing profound insights that have greatly improved my understanding of myself and my interactions with others. Perhaps even more impressive, on the rare occasions when I think his analysis is slightly off in some way, he listens carefully to what I have to say and either admits that he may have misunderstood me or non-defensively explains how I may have misunderstood him. He is also extremely knowledgeable about medication, keeps up with current literature and studies, and is adept at explaining how meds work and interact with each other. I feel respected and supported by him, and his gentle and intelligent guidance has been consistently helpful over the years. I highly recommend him, both for psychotherapy and for medication management.'
Warm, caring and extremely perceptive! Dr. Bellota immediately makes you feel at ease. Would recommend her highly to anyone seeking help understanding their issues.
Great! Very attentive and knowledgeable. Quick to return phone calls and flexible appointment schedule. Very determined to help with issues and comes across as a true professional.
Over the last few years, I have relied on the knowledge, wisdom and expertise of Dr. Bellota. Her ability to empathize and see things clearly have helped steer me through some incredibly difficult times in my life. Her thorough knowledge about different approaches and medications have helped me to cope with some of life's greatest challenges. I am truly grateful for Dr. Bellota for her trustworthiness, dependability and compassion. I highly recommend her.
Finding the right psychiatrist is tough, you're not going to be compatible with everyone. I've seen a few over the years and Dr. Bist is by far the best for me. He is a grounded, practical and compassionate listener, and also gives just the right amount of feedback. He focuses a lot on mindfulness and being in the present moment, which seems so simple but is actually kinda tough to do. He's helped me learn some valuable skills and guided me through some big changes in my life.
Surprised at the negative reviews. I had a fantastic experience in the clinic and have certainly been helped. I love the atmosphere and calm feeling the place gives me. My sessions were wonderful as well. Thumbs up!
My son was here for 3 weeks. I had great communication with the staff. They also made sure my son had plenty to eat. He played basketball daily and began writing in his journal which seemed to help him. They did get him in a more stable state of mind. I know there are a lot of negative reviews here but even my child, who said he didn't necessarily want to be there, said it was a good place and the people treated him well. He was also given medication but, again, this enabled him to reach a more stable state of mind.
im very happy with my experience
