Going for a couple years make sure your on time or they will lock the door and you will be SOL the staff are always helpful and the counsellors are great. I don't know what I would do if I didn't find this place when I did. Oh and they have a police officer that is there for security reasons or whatever so don't bring the G ride to the clinic.

Good clinic. The best I have ever been to, given that they (usually) have a fast electronic check-in which allows the patient to bypass the front desk (where it quickly becomes crowded once you arrive; a rope or some tape on the floor might organize that lobby better). I have been there for about a year and a half and am at a point where I only need to go twice a month. This would never occur at any other clinic. Again, the best clinic I have been under the care of. Methadone, acknowledged as still controversial after lo these 45 years now, has been a godsend. Sure, I am "dependent", but I use it to wash down my vitamins every morning, and only have to deal with the crowd there 2x/month. Not much of a sacrifice, really. I don't understand why so many rehab staff are so anti-medication-assisted treatment. I only wish that I had gone to a methadone clinic for the 1st time in 1997, instead of 2006 (when my life was already basically completely destroyed). And the state should have instituted insurance for this decades ago, instead of within the last few years. It would have avoided a lot of pain, loss, upheaval, tears, and wasted years.

My wife and I now are over 3.5 yrs sober because of CMS! We love the staff and counselors. If it wasn't for them we don't know where our life would be. Do what you are supposed to do, and you get privileges. We get our take homes only going 4xtimes a month. People that's use other stuff is why they get mad at out CMS, this isn't a Free high. Use this program to better yourself. We did it so can all you guys. Nurse Sandy is the best, Maria front desk is so down to earth. Angela the director now is the most kind loving person. Helped my wife overcome her darkest days!!! Thank you CMS FOR GIVING BACK MY LIFE AND MY WIFE'S!!

I really had a good experience here. I think if you're ready to get your life on track then this is a great place to do it. I transferred to medmark in fort worth Texas recently and i think it was a mistake, the clinic here is what i thought a methadone clinic would be like that morning before i started treatment when I'd never been to one. But community medical services is more like a doctor's office than your typical methadone clinic, the staff cares a lot and knows everyone by name, NOT by number and that meant a lot to me. I miss my counselor, and especially the dr kirk..kurt. darn i can't remember his name lol. Wel the doctor here at this new clinic is terrible, the staff is unorganized, and combative and so are the patients, i can't bring my baby to the clinic with me because it's unsafe, so don't take community medical services for granted! It's a safe place for you and your children, they let you earn privileges quickly. Because i transferred I'm having to wait 4 extra months to get down to weekly. I should've been at weekly in June when I hit 9 months, but here they knock it down one day at a time every 2 months. I'm 6 days past my 1 year and i still have to go there 2 days a week. A lot of people lost all their privileges because when the new owner took over, they started testing for alcohol and then stripped privileges for it. I personally wouldn't have been affected, i don't drink at all, but a lot of people that had been in treatment for years, gotten down to MONTHLY are now dailies. Community medical services got me to where i am now. 1 year 6 days since i used last. Emotionally I've grown so much, and I'm sober for my kids. I just hope that if you're considering treatment that you will just go in. Intake will take a long time, bring snacks and drinks and stash them in your bag. Be prepared to get dope sick for a little bit, but then they'll dose you, same day! It'll be by 11 am and i know that's like 5 or 6 hours, but what's 5 or 6 hours in exchange for a better life? Do it. Just call, and go down there. It's totally worth it. They'll help you with everything, not just getting sober. They have info for so many services. If you need a home for you and you're children away from the drugs try house of refuge.

Awesome staff, I liked the clientele and staff in Phoenix more, but only because there the clients really seemed like they wanted to be sober. But over all the transfer didn't negatively affect my dedication to me personal sobriety. I do miss my counselor Ron from the Phoenix location! But Laura is awesome and they care about your life and metal well being not just keeping you from withdrawals/pain. Overall they're amazing.

Dr. Patel is very punctual; I have never had to wait. Appointments start at precisely the scheduled time. I normally schedule appointments at 8:00 AM, before delays have a chance to accumulate. I can't say whether he keeps to his schedule throughout the day but I have no evidence that he doesn't.

I absolutely love this place. Came here one year ago in desperate need of help with my addiction. These people were very good to me. The staff, nurse, counselor, and Dr all do their part in assuring that your time there is worth it and do whatever possible to help you feel comfortable with soberity. I love this place and would most definitely recommend it to anyone that is struggling with soberity.
